Small rectangular area projecting NE into Ballydonegan Bay. Slight neck (Wth 30m) defended by earthen bank (H 3.85m) and fosse (D 2.1m) which has been levelled for 11m from cliff-edge to N. Westropp (1921, 6) notes bank faced with "fairly large slabs"; these no longer visible. Interior slopes down steeply to N and S; enclosed by field fenced (not noted by Westropp). Possible souterrain (CO127-001002-) inside bank to SE.
