What is recorded here

In rough grazing land, at the base of a field boundary on a N-facing slope. Spring water flows into an irregular opening (0.8m E-W; 0.5m N-S; H 0.8m) under the field boundary. Stones are placed on the N side of the opening, from which the water flows down the hillside. It is known locally as a holy well.
