In rough hill pasture, on cutaway bog on the N-facing slopes of Dursey Island. A circular area (12m N-S; 11m E-W) is defined by the remains of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.45m). Rubble is scattered in the NE quadrant of the interior and along the exterior, especially downslope to the N. Two upright parallel slabs at E indicate the entrance (Wth 0.7m). The interior has been raised (H 0.5m) at N and cut into the bank at S (D 0.3m) to compensate for the hillslope. At W and E the wall remains have been rearranged to make two, now abandoned, rectangular turf stands for stacking turf) each measuring c. 12m N-S and 2m E-W. It is known locally as 'Clochán Uí Chronacháin'.
