In pasture on S-facing slope. Rectangular area (26m N-S; 23.6m E-W) enclosed by stone-faced earthen bank; Currarane church (CO124-028002-) on W side. Burials mainly in S half with numerous gravemarkers set in rows; few headstones dating from 19th century to present day. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
