In centre of graveyard (CO123-072---). Early 19th century church; chancel to E; pinnacled tower to W; side chapel to S. Interior walls covered with mosaics erected 1894-1925; hammer beam roof. According to Brady (1863, vol. 2, 555-7) built 1811 on site of earlier church (CO123-073---). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
