In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by substantial earthen bank (int. H 2m); fosse (D 1m). Gap in bank (Wth 3.2m) to SSE with causeway. Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope.
