In level pasture with lower ground to W and SW. Roughly circular, slightly raised area (28m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.7m); silted-up fosse. Field fence atop levelled bank N->E. Hole (diam. 2m; D 1.5m) dug in bank to SSW. Field clearance stones dumped against external bank face to N. Break in bank (Wth 1.4m) to E.
