In pasture, on SSE-facing slope. Oval area (31m N-S; 35m E-W) raised to W and S to compensate for hillslope; enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.7m) with external fosse S->W (D 0.7m). Outside of bank stone faced to NE. Interference to E due to construction of laneway and field boundaries. Gap worn across bank to W by cattle. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
