What is recorded here

In pasture, on N-facing slope above Curraghalicky Lake. Circular, slightly raised area (diam. 28.7m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.35m); topped by stone wall to S; section levelled to E (Wth 5.3m); field clearance material dumped on outer face to N and W. Gap in bank to W (Wth 1.8m). Interior overgrown; used as dumping ground for rubble; waterlogged inside N bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
