On beach at base of 4-5m high cliff underneath Dunnamark Fort (CO118-004001-). Layer (L 3m; D 0.5m) of shells, including oyster, cockle and periwinkle. Eroding; animal bones and several split stones also noted. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
