In pasture, overlooking Bantry Bay. D-shaped area, straight axis E-W (27.2m); projecting to N (23.4m). Interior enclosed by low earthen bank (H1.05m) with break (Wth 10m) at SE corner. Vegetation pattern suggests external fosse on W. According to local tradition, a windmill stood here. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
