In rough grazing land with outcropping rock, on a W-facing slope. A bowl-shaped hollow (diam. 0.18m; D 0.07m) is carved out of the sloping W face of the outcropping rock. The hollow is filled with water and contains coins and small stones and is regarded locally as a holy well. Pilgrims to it have carved three crosses on the rock, one on each side and one below the bullaun stone. It continues to be visited occasionally by pilgrims. A rounded slab to one side of the water-filled hollow is normally used to cover it.
