In pasture, on a N-facing slope on the S side of a roadside field boundary on the N side of Bere Island. A rectangular area (10m E-W; 5m N-S) enclosed by a field boundary at N and elsewhere by a stone wall (H 1m). The interior is largely obscured by briars and bushes. According to local information, this is a 'cillíneach' or children's burial ground.
