In rough, uneven, upland grazing, on blanket bog, on a S-facing gently slope, on the S foothills of Miskish Mountain. A sod-covered circular cairn (diam. c. 4m; H 0.75m), set in blanket bog and covered in gorse and heather. A second cairn (CO115-126001-) lies c. 12m to the S. Another cairn (CO114-081008-) lies in an adjacent field to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
