In a level area of rough upland grazing, on blanket bog of varying depth, on the SE slopes of Miskish Mountain. There are good views to the SE over Berehaven Harbour and Bere Island. A hogback-shaped boulder (2.40m NE-SW; 1.5m NW-SE; H 0.85m) rests on at least four support-stones. Bog has encroached on the boulder-burial, obscuring its underside W-NE. The top of the cover-stone is 0.85m above the present bog level.
