What is recorded here

In rough grazing, on a gentle E-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped mound (7.6m E-W; 6.2m N-S; H 0.65m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil, partially covered by rushes. The opening (Wth 2.2m) faces S onto marshy ground. The fulacht fia is surrounded by blanket bog (D 0.2-0.4m). There is a hut site (CO115-111001-) c. 5m to the N.
