In rough mountain pasture, on level patch of ground sheltered by rock outcrop to E, on lower S-facing slope of Maulin Hill, towards W end of Beara peninsula. Ruined gallery (L c. 2.4m; Wth 1.25m at SW) aligned NE-SW;represented by two erect side stones to SE, one upright and one fallen sidestone to NW. Two displaced roof stones partially cover NE end. Cupmarks on most easterly roofstone. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
