Ruined 19th century mill (13m N-S; Wth 5.15m E-W) on E bank of Creevogestream 0.5km NW of Castletown Bearhaven. Single-storey, gable ended. Two wheel-pits (Wth 1.3m) occur; one along N wall and the other along S wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
