On S slopes Slieve Miskish Mountains. Drawing by Somerville (UCC) shows 'stone triad'. Site not located. (Connie Murphy located site: 115023. Connie thinks that it is a natural formation. The location in the 1988 SMR is incorrect and the Record of Monuments has been amended, as have the co-ordinates here.)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
