In rush-covered hill pasture in an area of bog, on a saddle to the S of Knocknagallaun, with views to the SW over Ballydonegan Bay. The gallery (L 2.15m; Wth 1.1m at W, narrowing to 0.85m at E) is aligned NE-SW. The N side comprises a single upright stone and the S side is formed of two stones; no backstone is visible. A slab (exposed surface: 1.5m x 1.9m) lying 0.25m to the SE of the gallery, and largely enveloped in peat, may be a displaced roofstone. Beside the gallery to the S at the edge of a break in slope are the remains of a rectangular platform used for storing cut peat. It is likely that the tomb served as a quarry for this structure.
