In rough peaty hill pasture, on the NE-facing slopes of Miskish Mountain. The grassed-over remains of an old trackway (Wth 1-2m) run along the hillside in a general SE direction from a standing stone (CO114-075001-). The relict trackway rises gradually as it winds its way to the SE and S along the hillside. At irregular intervals the upslope has been cut into and the downslope has been built up with stone in order to compensate for the hillslope. The trackway is no longer in use. According to local information, this trackway was an ancient route that went through a gap to the E of Miskish Mountain and continued on to Kilaconenagh, to the W of Castletownbere.
