What is recorded here

In pasture, close to the seashore, on an E-facing slope overlooking Coulagh Bay. A circular area (diam. 8m) is defined by a scarp (H 0.2m) NE-SW and by a bank (int. H 0.3m) cut into the upslope SW-NW. This gives an almost level interior. There is a children's burial ground (CO114-066001-) c. 20m to the NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). Date of upload: 22 December 2009
