To N of Summer Cove, at W end of graveyard, in elevated position overlooking Kinsale Harbour to W and S. Built 1743 when act passed 'for removing the site of the parish church of Rincurran' (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 235) (see CO125-008001-); extensively renovated and re-roofed in 1890 (Cole 1903, 103). Gabled rectangular church with tower at W end, transept to N with vestry. Closed for regular worship c. 1990, now opening as 'St. Catherine's Retreat and Christian Education Centre'. Graveyard (CO112-038001-) rectangular(c. 90m E-W; c. 45m N-S), with earliest headstones dating from 1750s, still in use.
