Spread of burnt stone, 14m E-W x 8m N-S, 0.1m deep. Two small troughs underneath. One oval 1.5m x 1.3m and 0.35m deep. Layer of wicker at base with evidence of decayed organic material, possibly moss. Ring of stakeholes around base of trough. Surviving fragment of stake radiocarbon dated to 1120-858 cal BC. Second trough sub-rectangular 1.28m x 0.98m and 0.2m deep. Several lengths of unworked timber lying on base. Possibly a floor, or may have collapsed in. radiocarbon date 1727-1528 cal BC. Horizontal mill (CO111-101001-) also discovered nearby.
