Oval-shaped well, set into natural slope and lined with stones. Resorted to principally as cure for sore eyes; also called "Brigid's Well". Second holy well lies c. 7m to W (CO110-02102-). (Ó 'Ríordáin 1932, 99). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
