Road bridge (Wth c.5m) over Bandon river. Seven semi-circular arches, gently increasing in height towards centre; coarse voussoirs and tall pointed breakwaters. Bridge widened (c. 2.5m) on downstream side (to E) with semi-circular arches and cut voussoirs; low rounded breakwaters. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
