n pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by stone-faced earthen bank (H 1.8m) W->E. Bank incorporated into field fence system; gap to NNW (Wth 5.5m). Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope; edge truncated by house and farm buildings to S and SW. (CMSS).
