Roadside bleaching complex 1.5km SE of Dunmanway on tributary of Bandon river. Long 2-storey gabled building, part residential, part storage; W end added. Bleach green to NE. Remains of rectangular structure (L 13.15m; Wth 6.4m) straddles stream to SE which is known locally as "bleach mill". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
