On natural rise, in pasture. Oval area (80m ENE-WSW; 52m NNW-SSE), enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) to W, N and E; shallow fosse to NW. Interior raised to N, W and S; sloping upwards towards centre; bounded by trackway at S.
