In pasture on gentle E-facing slope. Sub-circular area (60m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by arc of stone-built field fence (H 1.5m) WSW->ESE; by grass-covered earthen bank (H 0.7m) elsewhere. Bank forms right angle to S; breaks to SE and N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
