What is recorded here

In rough grazing, on a sheltered terrace on a S-facing hillslope. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.2m N-S) defined by the jumbled lower courses of a curving drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.4m) with a straight N side (L 3m). A break (Wth c. 0.5m) in the wall at E may indicate the entrance location. The level interior is partially covered by rubble. A circular hut site (CO106-104002-) adjoins this hut site at the SE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). Date of upload: 22 December 2009
