In moorland on S lower slopes of Nowen Hill. Low wall (L 2.7m) formed by double row of contiguous or overlapping stones; aligned NE-SW; decreasing in height from NE->SW. Stone set at right angles to N side of wall at NE end; second stone to S side of wall at SW end. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
