In pasture, on N-facing slope overlooking Meelagh River. Circular area (26m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by earthen bank W->E (H c. 1.7m); scarp (H c. 2m) E->W. N half of interior heavily overgrown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
