In pasture on top of a NNE-SSW ridge, at its NNE end, with commanding views of the sea to the WSW. A possible rath (dims. c. 35-40m NE-SW) defined by a slightly raised arc N-ENE, which may be the subtle remains of a levelled bank. The curving circuit of the possible rath continues ENE-SSE as a slight scarp to a NW-SE field boundary which appears to transect the SW quadrant of the monument. There are no visible remains of the possible rath to the SW of the field boundary. A souterrain (CO105-059002-) is located NE of the boundary, towards the centre of the SW quadrant of the possible rath. There is no local tradition of a rath on this hill.
