What is recorded here

Discovered in 1936 when house built beside ringfort (105-03501). Surveyed by C. Chevasse who describes three chambers, all earth-cut, sub-rectangular in plan and joined by creepways. Chamber 1: L 2.13m, Wth 0.8m, H 0.93m. Chamber 2: L 2.28m, Wth 0.9m, H 0.65m. Chamber 3: L 1.36m, Wth 0.9m. (McCarthy 1977, 257). No surface evidence. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
