What is recorded here

In rough mountain pasture, on a terrace on a W-facing slope. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) defined by a jumbled stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog cover. The uneven-surfaced interior slopes down to the N. Another hut site (CO103-026----) abuts this one at the S. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
