At E end of low ridge overlooking Kenmare river; 1.5km NE of multiple stone circle (CO102-00601-). Three stones, axial stone and those flanking it, are all that survive, measuring 1m to 2.4m L, 0.25m to 0.3m T and 1.3m to 1.6m H. Not possible to determine number of stones originally forming circle. Boulder-burial (CO102-011---) c. 250m to S. (O Nualláin 1984, 18, no. 20) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
