What is recorded here

In rough grazing, on edge of break in N-facing slope. Circular area (21m N-S; 20m E-W); defined by scarp (H 1.7m) NE->SE; partially enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.55m) SE->SSW. Entrance (Wth 0.8m) to SE, marked by 4 upright stones. Interior divided by field boundary on N-S axis; rock outcrop in NE quadrant; possible souterrain (102-00902-) in SW quadrant. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
