What is recorded here

In rough pasture in an area of cutaway bog on the lower N-facing slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain with views N over Ardgroom Harbour. An irregularly shaped boulder (1.45m E-W; 1.4m N-S; H 0.39m) rests on four support-stones, one of which is augmented by a pad-stone. Its upper surface slopes gently to the NW. Sheep have worn a path around the boulder. The top of the boulder is 0.76m high above the ground. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
