Mid-late 17th century 3-storey double-gable-ended house. Entrance front (N) of 5 bays; central door with rectangular fanlight; sash windows with shallow reveals. Date stone on northerly W gable inscribed 'H S E1699'. According to local information rear of house mid-17th century in date, with front half added to accommodate a larger family. Additions to rear. Farmbuldings to NW. Mature parkland. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
