In pasture. Circular area (27.5m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.2m) S->N; low rise N->NE and SE to S. Bank stone faced and incorporated into field fence system S->W. Field fence running N->S truncates E edge of enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
