What is recorded here

In pasture, on gentle NNW-facing slope. Circular area (30m N-S; 29.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.95m), stone faced in parts; external fosse to SW. Gap in bank to NNE (Wth 3.6m) and SW (Wth 2m). Interior slopes gently down to N; low ridge crosses interior on N-S axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
