In pasture. Circular area (46.5m E-W; 45.9m N-S) enclosed by inner earthen bank (int. H 1m); intervening fosse; outer earthen bank best preserved to W (H 1.2m). Gaps in inner bank to N (Wth 1m), ENE (Wth 4m) and NW (Wth 1.5m). Fosse substantial to W and N, used as pathway to E and S. Outer bank modified and incorporated into field fence system to E and S. Interior raised to E to compensate for slope. Trees growing on banks and interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
