In Inishannon, in SE corner of a subrectangular graveyard (CO097-053001-). Built in 1829 (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 21). Rectangular nave (long axis N-S), slender pointed windows between buttresses on E and W walls; chancel at N end. Pinnacled tower with slender spire at S end. Porch and sacristy added to W side in late 19th century. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
