Depicted as pentagonal field on O.S. map (1842) and named 'Killeen burial ground'. Low undulations to S and SW noted. Described in O.S. Name Books as 'a Dainish fort which had formerly been used as a burial ground' (CO096-018---). Tradition of associated souterrain (CO096-084---).
