In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (24.8m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.7m); shallow external fosse. Bank planted with conifers; gap to NE (Wth 3m). Ó Riordain (1932, 100) notes a second bank. Waterlogging in E half of interior.
