In pasture. Circular area (43m N-S; 41.4m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.4m), external fosse (D 1.6m) and counterscarp bank (H 1m). Stones visible on inner face of bank to E and S. Counterscarp bank reinforced with stones in parts and incorporated into field fence sytsem. Entrance (Wth 4m) to E with causeway; narrow gap in bank to N. Souterrain (8887) in interior.
