Depicted and named as a ‘well’ on the 25’’ OS map. Near the bottom of a gentle, north-facing slope, on the south side of a small public road. Extending into the garden and animal paddock associated with a dwelling house. The partial remains of a fulacht fiadh were revealed when a large conifer tree was blown over and a semicircle of heat shattered stone and charcoal rich soil was visible. The exposed part of the fulacht fiadh measures c.6m east-west and c. 2m north-south, while any further remains are hidden under bushes and the collapsed tree to the south. There is a standing stone (CO084-081) c. 30m to the east.
