In pasture with commanding views over the undulating countryside SE-SW, and W to Shehy More. The ground rises to the E and there is a coniferous wood to the N. A hog-backed, irregularly shaped, orange-coloured, quartz boulder (1.5m x 1.2m x 0.9m H) rests on three support-stones. A standing stone-pair (CO094-130002-) and a second boulder-burial (CO094-130003-) are c. 23m to the WSW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
