This possible fulacht fia was reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Tony Miller on the 10th of December 2014. He describes it as follows: "During recent cleaning of a drain in this field a large quantity of burnt stone and charcoal rich soil was brought up to the surface. It is not possible to see exactly where the burnt spread is but it is somewhere immediately south of the causeway over the drain, connecting two fields. A large fulacht (CO093-090--) is sited c 150m to the north west and a stream runs c10m to the south. It is a level area of improved grassland, close to the base of Shehy Mountain. The stream is a tributary of the Bandon River.''
